It works for me when I test it in the newest build. So I am unable to recreate this issue.
When did you update to the newest patch, 100324? Do you have a save at the end of chapter 13?
You could also try the Unique Bug fixes folder for Blastov.ups. It’s the same as the newest patch but has some fixes for players who did chapter ch11 before the patch 100324 was released.
If none of these work you can try to send me your save file, to actually figure out what’s wrong but I can’t promise anything.
Try and DM it to him, but before doing so, rename the save so that the extension of the save file (the .sav at the end) is instead .midi; that will let you send it to him. Don’t worry- this won’t mess up the save data.
Helena and Kelen have switched classes. Helena is now a Shaman and Kelen is now a mage. Their stats have been changed somewhat as have been the stat caps for mage and shaman.
Several units have had tweaked growths but Nolan is the one that gained the most defense growth since it was kinda too low.
Using a skill scroll now allows you to erase a skill that you have learned. (Im very not sure how I fixed this one but it appears to be fixed)
Obstruct staff (only one range for now) has been added. It’s D rank
Kidlat is now a summoner
Teffen’s potions are now an event you can activate by selecting teffen rather than being active the first turn of every fight. You can chose to buy items or to randomly get two free items given to you once per map.
Hey! I would like to start by saying I’m on chapter 4 and having a ton of fun so far, overcoming hoards of enemies with low tier units has been very entertaining. I just had one question though. Do the trainee units need an item to promote? I got my Lynx to lvl 10 and there wasn’t any option to promote him like in base FE8. Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else already, I looked and couldn’t find an answer.
Trainee units promote via a map command, after chapter 4. There are a lot of trainees so this was implemented to give you time to rotate them in and out.
are the maps supposed to be impossible to play without deaths? I understand the huge roster but some maps are just unplayable if you try to get all side objectives
Playing S10x now, where you have to beat both the pirates/thieves to unlock the dancer next chapter, and forget about getting chests, the enemy stats are close to 20 while most of your party is still in the teens.
It’s possible I may have overtuned ch10x since it had recent revisions. The dancer is accessible during chapter 10x though.
So this is the sentiment in which the hack was designed.
Though with ch10x in particular it’s meant to be an either/or deal on side objectives. You don’t have to fight the pirates AND ninjas (and get the dancer), and get all the chests. It’s a chapter that is a reward to doing well in chapter 10 and you get to pick your rewards, not get all of them. In main chapters you more frequently will be able to get everything.
But it may be too much in this case and I’ll consider a revision of it to the update. Though that update will drop who knows when (probably before the new year) and will definitely not be compatible with previous saves.
Hello~, I made an account just to get this issue resolved haha. I’ve been absolutely loving the hack so far! It’s definitely one of my favorites. But I’m also having chapter 13 reroute to the brief respite bug. I’ve tried doing the methods you recommended, but it continues to loop. Would you mind me sending you my save file as well? Thank you so much, and I really appreciate all the time you’ve put into this hack!

That said this is probably the last modification I’ll make on this older build, since the new build which (will be out before or around the new year will be fully incompatible with the current one).
So the 12252024 update is just the most polished version of the 11012024 version, which has a bunch of bug fixes, but no new content/classes.
Rn the new build is not out. In its current state it’s mostly qol upgrades, fixing every brief respite, chapter updates and tweaks, unit upgrades (like ambar actually transforming and stuff and some more hidden classes). It also changes a lot of how different flags are used and swaps some characters so it’s incompatible with all past updates.
I’m holding off on updating with the big new patch because I also want to add a few chapters but I want them to have as much testing as possible, due to their placement.
Hi, you can try playing on the newest version (12252024) which should help you with some of your issues. But the bug you described, and the one described previously regarding summons, I have been unable to recreate.
What did you do differently visiting the inn this time compared to last time? Are you on the same build? Did you fast forward through the inn event?
