Posted another update patch fixing some small errors.

The arenas are broken enough as is, you can cap out marisa on her joining chapter because duelists blow activates in the arena so she was facing single digit hit rates at base.

Not to mention spur and drive and rally skills like any time an arena shows up you can pretty much max out anyone you want to, no need to add more

Been steadily playing through this and my joshua died really early on and I didn’t reset. I just got to Ch 25, and Joshua got resurrected and force deployed in erikas army lol.
Idk if this is a bug or if it’s already been addressed, as I’m one patch behind.

I can control him as normal and he gains xp but he isn’t counted as a unit in regards to the turn ending. Like if I move every unit except for him the turn just ends even though he has yet to act.

Welp, that’s weird lol One of the command I’d been using all throughout the game suddenly decided it’s gonna load dead units to the party. It should be fixed in the next patch.

Hello I was wondering do you have a recommended level when we should promote in this game?

Early promotion is usually what I go for, personally. The game is easy enough still that you don’t need to min-max your stats, necessarily. If you really wanna get the most out of things tho, maybe like Level 13-15 or so? I definitely recommend giving Joshua a hero crest ASAP though, because he has an auto-promotion to a Tier-3 class midway through the game, so if you want him to pick up certain skills or weapon ranks from his T2 classes, you’re gonna wanna do that as soon as you can. (I personally recommend Hero. Having 1-2 range access +sol is incredible, especially once he promotes and learns Astra automatically)

Alternatively, if you wanna use save-states, or get a little risky, it’s pretty easy to train units up in the arena, because skills activate in the arena. So things like Duelist Blow still apply, as well as Rallies, Spurs, Drives, and supports.

Maybe you addressed this already, but just to be sure: there’s a glitch in Chapter 3 that causes the Discipline Band event to trigger for the the first unit who acts/waits, regardless of being in the Forest tile.

Also, a small question: how did you decide who gets Lead Stars? I noticed on my first playthrough that Duessel, Selena and Glen don’t have any. I assumed they would, considering they’re generals. And since they’re forced in the Paralogues, we can’t counteract the enemy Lead Stars (which are 12 in Paralogue 1), leading to shaky hit rates.

And now, on my second playthrough, I just realized Eirika gets all the Lead Star units until that point (Seth and Joshua; and goes on to get four more - Ahab, Tana, Innes, L’Arachel), while Ephraim get none (he just has Syrene). That’s just not fair! Even more so, since there’s those glitches on Ephraim chapters, which make Lead Star Avo bigger than normal.

So, instead of cutting Auto Maddening levels for those chapters, why don’t you give Lead Stars to units of Ephraim’s side? Effectively, it would just be Garcia (a former war hero; an inspiration to the army) and Duessel (a general), but +10 hit goes a long way. The buff from Slim weapons can only do so much (thanks for that too, by the way).

Just so you see how much difference this makes: base Amelia (Slim Lance) has, minimum, 89 hit on the Chapter 12 Short Bow Archer under Gilliam’s Intimidate. The +2 Skl from Slim Lance would bump it to 93, and the Lead Star from Garcia would make it 98. If the Lead Stars worked properly, she would have 93 + 4 = 97 (102, with Garcia).

TL;DR: Could Garcia, Duessel, Selena and Glen get one Lead Star each?

That’s odd, I’ll have to go in and fix that. Probably just have the range wrong for it.

That’s so weird, I could have sworn that they did? I can definitely get on board with that. I’ll make those changes as well.

@LucioAdams Could you check for me if Duessel has a leadership star? Because he does on my end. I added ones for Garcia, Selena, and Glen though

Ah Good to know about the Joshua promotion. Love using him so him getting another class is cool, and got it. Kind of like the lower promotion level

I don’t know if I am unlucky or doing something wrong, but my first 5 levels with Andrew included exactly 0 strength growth. It should happen 70% of the time with his aptitude skill, right?

Did you download the 0% growths patch on accident? Otherwise, it sounds like it’s probably just some bad RNG.

Yeah, I restarted the level and he finally gained one. 30% odds five times in a row is crazy… but that’s the fire emblem experience haha (0.243% bahahaha)

Listen, I once got hit by a 1% crit with a 20% hit rate so I get it lmao

My first Hector in Fire Emblem Blazing Sword missed a 99% accuracy hit… Against Morph Darin, a general, the easiest enemy to hit in the game.
