The requirement may be a little awkwardly described, you need to kill at least 14 of the “Palace” units (so Maids and Nobles), whereas the Plc Guard do not add to the counter. It worked for me when I tested it, so maybe you just haven’t killed enough yet? I can see two nobles in your screenshot, though I am not sure how many are still left outside of ir.

You should be able to see the King of Legend item in his inventory. He has the same mechanic as he does in Three Houses, where each of the alive Elites gives him a stat buff. So you are encouraged to kill the Elites first before going after him.

no it was a less older version i just didn’t get further.
although chapter 5 sure changed noticeably . makes me wonder how previous chapters changed.
So i simply restarted the chapter and seems fine.
Since I love that player phase battle is the track you chosen, i think it sucks that the unit dying track is still the sacred stone one . It’s understandable though if theres no fitting rip/mix of it to fit on gba soundfont.

I’ve updated the download link with a bugfixing patch after feedback from the initial players. Changes:
- Fixed the Black Sand Lance being broken with map animations off.
- Added a droppable chest key to one of the units in Verse VIII.
- Added a warning about villages in Verse IX. Mentioned desert treasure more explicitly in the starting cutscene of Verse XII.
- Fixed villages in Verse XV getting blown up after visiting.
- Redid and improved promotion gains for many promoted units.
- Hand cannons now have effective damage against Wyvern Knights.
- Fixed Heroes and Dragoons losing axe rank level upon promotion.
- Pavise Crossbows are now effective against flying units.

Rhea is supposed to go berserk in Verse VIII, that is the theme of the chapter. You are supposed to avoid her in her berserk state and kill the boss without getting killed by her. She returns to normal in the next verse.
However yes I believe the bugfix update should be save compatible.
Hello Augenis, i just discover a bug at Chapter 9 that after a Certain person got they level up at the beginning, the entire next section just glitch up to high hell and then go straight to preparation
Hey there, absolutely loving this hack so far, it’s engrossed me these past few days. I noticed something minor, however. I’m at Chapter 7 and it says that Wilhelm and Cichol have a Talk conversation, yet it’s not allowing me to initiate it. I was able to initiate Cethleann and Ludavica’s conversation without issue, but for some reason Cichol’s with Wilhelm’s isn’t working.
That is strange, I’ve not seen it before. Will try to investigate. Are you trying to skip the starting cutscene?
The Wilhelm-Cichol conversation on verse VII is a debug tool I accidentally left behind. It is disabled for normal play, just ignore it ![]()
Nope, i Genuinely want to read the story and then that bug happen that send send this various bug screen and then got straight to preparation stage.
The game just bugged out after a Certain Someone got a level up, i didn’t do anything to warrant it

I’ve loaded your save, but I could not replicate the issue you got. After the level up scene, for me the rest of the chapter cutscene loaded normally:
The “glitching up and skipping to preps” does happen if you press Start (Enter on mgba) at some point during the cutscene (it skips to the level up and then continues skipping after it is done), so maybe you accidentally pressed it?
Yes, i did press Start when i want to skip the Chapter introduction so i can read the story.
And after i just let the chapter do it intro and enter the story section, once the level up is done, the story is actually not bug anymore.
Thank you for the aid, i would’t expect that my chapter intro skip to be the problem here

- Removed a broken item from a reinforcement unit in verse XIII.
- Fixed errors caused by saving in preps and resetting in verses XV and XIX, including an ability to get more than one Sword of Seiros.
- The Laerke-Gerth convo in verse XVI should now be accessible.
- Fixed an error with Viskam activation in verse XVIII.
- Reduced number of Bandage uses. A mage in verse V now drops a Heal staff to compensate.
- Fixed an exploit to remove the Crest Stone in verse VIII in chapter preps.
