[FE8] Is there a way to completely disable the world map?

I have seen a previous thread from 2015 that asked a similar question but I don’t necessarily understand the response. I simply want to disable all world map events completely, not even any cut-ins like fe7, is there any way to do this? or do I have to buckle down and create my own world map events and map?

Assuming febuilder: Use mnc2 fix (Disable world map & skirmishes) and then just always use mnc2 to go to the next chapter.

You may also want Skip Opening Cutscene patch.

That’s all there is to it.
