Now wondering how will they play in future Search for Seiso installments
No devdate since FEE3 is around the corner

Hey yall. Um, I have a question. Im 100% not into any v-tuber stuff but like, I love very long hacks, so I still downloaded this. Now, my Amelia has already hit her Lvl 25 cap, and her skill pool on her character screen is full. However, I wanted her to have Nihil, just in case I am forced by the game to fight later bosses with very annoying skills (maybe that girl that makes copies of herself with the sword? She looks like she is going to be a handful, is it copies or are there actually 3 of her?) because one of the Smol Ames already killed me by reversing my attack with that Devil curse skill. So, it said that she learned the Nihil skill but like I know the screen only displays 6 skills, I cannot remember if you are allowed to have more than 6. I wanna know if the skill got wasted or if she learned it indeed. I am in Chapter 17 at the moment and her Skill attribute is kind of poor at only 15, have also had to boost her speed and HP with items, so she has never activated any skill like Aether on any battle yet (Im thinking of giving her the Skill Seal if she gets promoted later), so Im not sure if she actually has the Nihil on or what. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Sorry if this is kind of a dumb question, not an expert on the games but I loved them.
You can only have up to 6 skills at a time.
The Smol Ames will appear as random minibosses throughout the game. In my personal opinion, you’ll get some pretty strong combat units in the next few chapters (And also if you’re using units like Noel, Choco, Bae, Fauna w/Selection, etc). Amelia would not really benefit from Nihil unless you send her to the frontlines with the rest of the army.
Skill Seal Ame is what I did to get her to proc Aether, but skill seal can probably go to your faster or harder hitting units that Amelia can support
Thank you for the reply! Luckily I do have a separate save file although I will have to replay chapter 16 but thats not an issue. Kinda weird that the game still lets me use the skill scroll despite it not working. I assumed that maybe if it wouldnt let me, it would take me to a similar option that appears when you level up and learn a skill naturally during combat, the list appears and you can choose to replace one skill for the new one, but I suppose I should have expected that to be an option for in-combat mode only. Thank you regardless!
Skill scrolls only work on the field due to hardware limitations. There’s also a documented issue where some scrolls would change in storage unfortunately
Hope you enjoy the rest of your playthrough!

Alright, Im taking a break from this game. Gosh, honestly Im just gonna say it, it’s exhausting
I just finished Chapter 24 after 2 days of being stuck in it, and then Im followed by 24x which is another painfest, and I think from there on it will be nothing but the same. Im curious though, really, is this game supposed to have your enemies be SO overkill? Like, my jaw is on the floor with some of the enemy stats starting Chapter 23 onward. Just this past chapter, enemies all of a sudden had 35+ speed, pretty much instantly rendering over half of my roster unusable because the gap from having hit rates for normal not-overpowered units went from 65% to a misery-inducing 15% for anyone who isnt Korone, Laplus, Noel or Anya, all units who just RAN to be overpowered in the previous chapters, and even then, Anya and some of my other better units in the past like Nene and the robot girl, including Iofi, went from being great units, to ending up having less than 60% hit rates too. Im shocked and kind of confused if this was intended, because Chapter 24 jumped in extreme gaps, with the last two being me forced to stall and kill Kronii and her duplicates (was that supposed to be doable?) to me realizing that having 24 units on the field was actually, for the first time in any hack I have played, a massive hindrance. I had to deploy only 14 units using my best who went down to amazing units to mediocre + a few staff users to stall Calliope and berserk some of the more annoying ones like the Gryphon fliers and that Entrap staff user. After celebrating my victory after like 11 failures in 2 days, I arrive at Chapter 24x…and realize that Im forced to use units that I neglected, aka Laplus’ minions
now Im stuck here, because all but one of those units are completely USELESS, the Swordmaster (forgot her name) being the only one that can survive and even then, she gets occasionally taken out by a medusa with that long range attack that instakills her. What am I supposed to do!? Help me!
Do you use Kiara and the other Rallying units for their Rallies?
Follow the old paths… save state and rng manipulation….
I have, you have no idea. For chapter 24 I remember spending, not kidding, nearly 30 minutes having to reload the mbga save state so that Nene could land a decisive 11% hit on one enemy I needed to kill. I rarely use save states, but in this game I have been basically forced to use it on every chapter past chapter 21 I think, or my head would have exploded!
I have, well, Kiara not as much but I did have her on Chapter 24. Then again, that didnt really help me, if +7 just ends up taking the hit rates from 13% to 19%, it still is a slugfest. Im past that chapter, but the problem in 24x is that I have to depend on the forsaken units now from Laplus’ side to move on. Im gonna have to see if I can warp Korone and Noel to the other side of the walls of the Laplace gaiden, because right now they are my only units who can still demolish some of the enemies and not die in 1-2 hits.
For chapter 23, use sleep sword if you have one and Calli become non factor until you deal with the main boss.
For chapter 24x, if you still have wraps staff the try to send one of your main tank down to hold the spider ballista, likely Mori if you don’t have any other good option, give them seal for extra safety. I sent Friend C and she pretty much prevent the HoloX squad being overwhelmed. Also, bring more leadership stars unit to offset the hit rate, in general you have to sacrifice about 5-6 slots for that in order to have decent hit rate at late game.
I finally did it, abusing the warp staff I had to send Noel to kill the closest Eclipse drowned enemy, then Korone to distract and kill all the medusa things and the ballista spiders that would decimate Laplus’ minions, and then send one of my dark mages to kill the two eyeballs and the drowned inside one of the locked rooms with the switch. Had I not bought 2 warp staves and 2 rescue staves back then, I would have been screwed.
lategame is the point where you really need to start paying attention to authority stars (because there is a lot of them), dedicating multiple deployment slots to auth bots like sora mio and luna are a near necessity as a result. alternatively you can also giga dope skill with skill seal from 16x and also asacoco statbooster (+10 str/mag/skl at the cost of 10 hp/ 5 def and res)
the calliope map is kind of one of the two places where it’s really bad because you dont have enough auth stars to fully negate all the enemy ones even if you deploy every auth bot you have, but deploying several of them over your worst DPS might help to save some headaches if you can figure out a way to keep them alive.
in holoX map (aka the other point where you have to deal with excessive auth stars) you should have at least 7 stars because ame and calliope are forced, if you bring sora luna mio that’s already 14 stars total which puts you at only -18 hit disadvantage.
more detailed holoX map stuff
If you are fine with using movement staves like warp rescue and entrap, this map is actually very easy to clear in a few turns. You just need to warp somebody into the top right room and bottom left room, the center room can basically be reached to on foot by Zeta alone. Trigger all 4 switches in the same turn then entrap the boss and kill her. Triggering the switches spawns reinforcements so you actually don’t want to trigger the HoloX switch too early because Iroha can and will probably get overwhelmed.
Shameless plug on how this works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZd69pN-dH0
anyway since you beat those 2 maps it’s a lot easier since you get Kronii for endgame who basically makes enemy auth stars irrelevant
Now, Im gonna say something that might be indicative of how Im not DEEP into the world of FE, but love playing the games enough for it to be my favorite games, and this might sound dumb, but…this is the first time I ever learn about whatever the heck those stars were for
you might shout at your screen but honestly, I always thought it just meant “this character is a leader, therefore the more stars, it means the better the unit”, and thats about that I thought hahahaha.
Also, I was stuck in chapter 24x because I couldnt figure out that you could walk on the dark tiles, well, some of them. I thought only the enemies could do that, it wasnt until I was over it all and tried to warp a unit to one of the magic seal enemies I was like wait a minute, I can warp someone to the surrounding dark tiles?! That one was a massive brain fart on my part hahahaha. Thank you for the knowledge!
