Hi what is the end chapter deployment limit?
It should be the same as the chapter before, 13
Is there a skill system in this game?
Yup, Characters do indeed have skills from Skill Systems.
I’ve completed the hack and will echo the sentiments expressed by Marik.
Publishing a full custom campaign is always an impressive feat, and I did end up enjoying my time with the game overall, but the story ended up going nowhere. The absence of an epilogue was especially jarring, considering you went through the trouble of writing supports for the whole cast.
On the topic of supports, a variety of bugs occurred. For instance, I was never able to get the Hailey/Wiess support all the way to A. I also endeavored to grind the supports between the bow knight and the dragon wyvern bandit queen, but they’re a rare instance of unwritten supports. Not only that, but the supports are only registered on the bandit queen’s side, not the bow knight’s.
On the game design front, I think most of the maps were serviceable to fun at a minimum, but there are a few game design decisions that had me puzzled. I will quickly list a few of the grievances that come to mind below:
-
Late additions to the party have subpar stats that make their addition to the team difficult to justify. The 14 base speed on the masked wyvern knight in particular felt like a major issue given his story relevance and the high speed benchmarks of the game.
-
The empyrean’s stat caps are very low, and the final weapon he gets is seemingly bugged, throwing his offensive stats in the negative.
-
Crashes sometimes occur when using the statboosting staves. Crashes also occurr when the demonic stalker appears on screen. On that topic, it’s weird that it just never reappears.
-
The game contains a large amount of typos, grammar mistakes and omissions. A general review of the script would go a long way towards enhancing the overall experience. In particular, “heros” should be corrected to “heroes” – this one is very necessary considering the number of times the word is repeated throughout the game. Mistakes like these might feel trivial in the grand scheme of things, but they do still hurt readability and player engagement.
-
I have mixed feelings regarding your approach to growths. Every unit had growths ranging generally between 40 and 55 for every stat, with the odd exception. Meaning every unit was always a few bad coin flips away from falling behind. There’s actually a nice variety of classes to choose from, which makes it a shame that most units end up feeling samey.
-
Weapons distributed to the player seemed overwhelmingly skewed in favor of axes in the first two thirds of the game.
-
The base weapon rank of your units are generally too low. Many of the units I used throughout the game never reached S rank.
All criticisms aside, I would still like to congratulate you for your work and thank you for the opportunity to play.
Hi there.
Does Eva and Zeph get promotions?
Eva no, Zeph yes!
Thanks!
Currently on chapter 18. In regards to a certain enemy unit that joins, just by looking at him just outright crashes the game.
man, this bug is so messed up cuz I’ve never been able to replicate it and my playtesters didnt see it either… maybe you can send me your save file and I can look at it there.
Sorry, I think I may have overrided that save state by accident while I was going through this game. None of the save states I have are before chapter 19 atm.
I’m just lucky that Warrior’s group didn’t manage to go straight down even further or it would’ve complicated things.
Ah ok if you’re past it than thats ok
Okay. Though I did find this one swordsmaster on the fort in Chapter 22. With animations on, if I tried to attack her, the game crashes before the battle animation starts.
Wow i thought i fixed this a while ago, but i just finally found the underlying problem. I just released another update with this fixed
Just updated the game just now, and the crashing with that swordsmaster on the fort is gone now.
Hi where is the secret shop?
A certain NPC gives a super huge hint to where it is on that map. If you really want to know.
Its 3 left and 1 down from the bottom right stairs
Thanks. I didn’t find it but i finished the game. That last boss…. How many times do I have to kill him![]()
Great job on your game. It was quite hard until I got my guys promoted and leveled.
thanks so much for finishing it! Im just curious on your comment “how many times do i have to kill him” was there a bug or something making it revive?
Lol no I mean the return of that guy, the final boss. It was good to fight him again
