Hello all, first time here and first time playing a romhack. I don’t have the best setup so I am using one of those websites that just plays the rom for me, KBH I believe. Anyways, I was wondering if there was anywhere I could find info on this hack pertaining to the changes to classes stat wise? I think I have looked all over this page, outside of all the comments haha there is quite a few. Sorry if this is longwinded, but thank you for making such a fun experience and look forward to continuing to play!

Thanks again and have a great day!

So, I have a few questions for everyone playing this hack pertaining to the skills. In a veeeeeeeeeeery hypotetical and unlikely scenario where I overhaul the entire skill system of this hack, I’d like to know where the majority of players stand.

1. How do you feel about skills that have a percentage chance of activation?
  • They are fine.
  • They are too reliant on RGN and should be removed.

2. What about the skill distribution?
  • Both playable characters and enemies should learn skills based on their level.
  • Generic enemy units should not have skills at all.

3. After personal skills and class skills, Sacred Trilogy usually allows 4 more skills for each character. How many skills should be the limit?
  • 1 Skill
  • 2 Skills
  • 3 Skills
  • Keep at 4 skills
  • 5 Skills
  • 6 Skills
  • 7 Skills

4. In this hack, each class awards 2 skills for the unit. How many skills should that be?
  • 1 Skill
  • Keep at 2 skills
  • 3 Skills
  • 4 Skills
  • 5 Skills

I just started playing this rom hack and I’m loving it so far. I have a few questions though. I noticed characters learning skills at levels 6 and 9 or randomly. I didn’t find anything written pertaining to skills being learnt at certain levels, so does promoting characters early (level 10) cause them to miss out on skills that they may have learnt (level 10+)?

Also I was checking out the rom in FeBuilder and I couldn’t find the skill scrolls in the item menu. Where can I find them?

You can simply download FE Builder, open the hack with it and check for yourself. Writing all this stuff down would be way too time consuming for me.

There’s a link to a google drive doc in the first post of this thread detailing all that.

It’s the last entry of the item list (ID FF). Due to how it’s implemented and due to engine limitations, whenever they show up in-game, the actual skill they will teach is determined by the durability of the item.

Just beat the final boss and enjoyed the hack a lot. One q tho, where do you use the Magvelian Ores?

There’s a smithy in Lagdou Ruins 1 where you can use them.

So u using the C skillsystem to overhaul ur hack? Good luck…

Yeah, I was flirting with the idea, but after testing for a few days, I don’t think it’ll be a good move. It’s incompatible with a lot of other cool hacks that ST uses. Plus, it also has its own share of bugs.

I’ve been enjoying this romhack so far, just grinding in Lagdou Ruins for fun. It’s nice that the enemies there are more difficult now compared to the vanilla. I just wanna know where to find Surveying Kits for Anna, I already have her at level 10.

I think that u should go for it. Frankly it’s a bit cluncky but I can dm u my demo if u r interested to check how it’ll potentially work.

So I missed an ore is there any way to get all 9 still?

Good day, I’m new here, I would like to ask about instruction on how to set it up in emulator since I tried to export it into zip but it didn’t work

Just got to 19x and uh, wtf is this?

Like seriously, tiny narrow map with a shit ton of enemies, yet your expected to save everyone, including Jake who can’t dodge a single attack and a balista that comes into melee range at the top of the map

and really? Tanky spider balista with killer ones equipped? Did you even test the map before you sent it out?

Relax. Still just a game

For what it is worth - the map felt reasonable to play once I decided it was a good place to use warp/rescue staves.
