Banger every time

Just completed the game! Storywise this was the most unique Fire Emblem experience I’ve ever seen! I love the setting, the plot and the main party all being active members of the story. Ellerie was a fantastic protagonist and it was a joy watching how far she goes. Overall, I had an amazing experience!

Thank you! Ellerie is my favourite character to write which is great since she has a bajilllion lines.

I’ve been enjoying the game a lot and I’m on chapter 18. My issue is that after the post chapter conversations conclude I get a forever black screen that I haven’t been able to resolve. Any ideas? On visualboyadvance emulator btw.

Wow! The first FE game where Main lead player control turn into Boss. Amazing strory and characters build too. Really dont like one eye erie. Should give her an eye patch

Buddy, I feel like that’s the kind of thing you should put in spoilers.

I feel like I got spoiled lmao.

Any thoughts on opting in Cerulean Crescent to be self randomized by Vesly? I thought that it might be a fun way to replay this banger game so I figured I might as well ask. (It’s cool if the answer is no, I don’t want to pressure anyone into adding their hacks if they don’t want to)

As cool as it might be, I highly highly highly doubt that CC is even remotely compatible with generalized randomization given how many of the game’s skills are hardcoded behind the scenes :midblink:

Yeah what Ultra said essentially.

I’ve heard of this issue reported elsewhere, but couldn’t replicate it sadly.
Dunno if you had luck since, but sometimes using resume to go back to the start of turn and redoing the turn is said to work?

That’s too bad but understandable. I had a feeling that might be the case but figured I’d ask regardless just in case.

I have been a Fire Emblem player for a long time and I must say that this hack is truly something special. I just picked it up today and I found the experience, even at the first few chapters, to be nothing like any other mainline games Ive played.

To be able to have Gecko kill an enemy, activate galeforce and kill another enemy, then dance her to kill yet another enemy, and a 4-way-dance to once again have her kill another enemy made me feel big brain and I almost bust a nut from the absolute high I felt as I planned it out and watched it succeed.

Truly, I have never played a game like this before. 10/10 hack, would definitely recommend.

I’ve tried that and a multitude of other things to no effect since. It’s sad since I like this romhack a lot and really wanted to finish it. Perhaps I could try to play it on a different emulator. Thanks though.

I could tell! While I love Oriana (screw Tower), I was Team Ellerie all the way despite all her morally questionable war acts. Also after viewing both the endings, I can say that ultimately the Crescent is much better with Ellerie than without. She’s the only person that can manage all these cutthroats and eliminating her just continues the problem. I say let her be supreme overlord empress chieftain in peace! Btw do endings change depending on how much you use a unit? Gecko mentions how she fought so much for Ellerie’s sake, but would that change if she barely fought at all?

Some endings do–Gecko’s notably, I didn’t use her and got a very different ending than if she’s trained.

Notably the ā€œdidn’t use Gecko at allā€ (lv 15 autolevel only) ending has her become an accountant instead.

Just beat the hack.
While it started off as a funny adventure, the gradual descent into a serious story was great.
The endings were all bittersweet, and the gameplay was great.
Nothing like killing half the pen ultimate map in one turn with odd device, refresher, lead by example and morale module.

The starting off as a funny adventure and descent into a story pipeline probably fits the DND inspiration, to think of it.

The more refresh the more funny brain chemicals is my working theory!

Using FEBuilder emulator should get the save through.
If you’re not familiar with that, direct message me the save and I can probably do it.
