The thing is that a being of pure malice has some quirks you’ll need to work out. Does it want control or destruction? Is it doing this for revenge, amusement or as a means to an end? How will you build a group of minions around it? Given its pure malice it’ll likely not inspire any loyalty or uphold any oaths/deals.
It wants chaos not absolute destruction. It’ll be doing this for amusement but it’ll not hesitate to end everything if he’s going down. He’ll learn to build minions in human world gradually. His first encounter with humans will be pretty direct and he’ll control them with fear. After losing sometimes, he’ll learn the weakness of humans and their inherent evil. He’ll sow discord among the masses and drive people mad. Actually, his minions will be formed by a global religion. His chosen one (minion) will fool people to worship him as their god.
You’re correct, he doesn’t inspire loyalty. He will rise to power through a rebellion and betrayal.
That’s my idea of the villain.
It’s a flag of the Qing Empire
I like dragons i also like other types of fae creatures, i always wondered why no one ever took inspo from feh in adding fairies to their hacks lol, but at least that gives me room to throw fairy girls at the wall
gacha hellscape doesn’t deserve faeries, they’re too cool/cute(depends on the fairy) for predatory gambling.
not a lot of good fairy anims on the repo though(read: zero)
Might change soon
the idea of a sentient being of pure malice is just cartoonish and irrational from a secular perspective, idk
If a sentient being were to hold pure malice and nothing else that would only be through the lens of an observer, otherwise the being would not survive very long lol (unless it has overwhelming power in which case how do you win)
If you read “malice” as “intent to do another harm”, then simply extrapolate some more metaphysical stuff, it makes a decent amount more sense- whether you’d interpret it’s opposite, and therefore most effective counterforce in the case of overwhelming power, as “hope” or “desire to protect” or whatever is another matter, and you could have those things power some ancient sword created by a precursor race.
fe is a war game and dragons are effective nukes
That’s just the age old problem of the RPG final boss being some god that came out of nowhere lol
That’s the problem with gods. They really come out of nowhere or they are created by some other powerful God. I don’t think it has a problem with RPG but I get what you say. Villains should have their own arc which shows about their rise to power and explore their character efficiently.
based on the wiki they knew of morva and he was the great dragon.
but since i checked the wiki i now wonder more what Nada kuya was like
she also had a sword similar to falchion .
Myrrh was the great dragon. Both of them might be “The Great Dragon” but it seems unlikely. Game addresses Myrrh as Great Dragon multiple times.
Myrrh used to live with Morva and fight monsters in darkling woods, so they must have thought she was protecting mankind. I don’t see villagers mention Morva anywhere directly. Its quite tragic.
yeah i wonder where they got that from then.
i haven’t played sacred stone in ages so i dont know the details
