If you just want to read the support conversations, they should be stored as separate event script .json files entitled “global_SupportXXXXX” where the Xs are the character names. If you open those files, you can read the text. You’ll have to ignore the scripting commands, of course.
As Aeroponce said, someone from the other GBA title who’s considered notoriously overpowered.
No other events tied to supports at this time, IIRC. (Except a mild Easter-egg type event in a support with the character reference in point #2 above…)
I’m glad you feel that way about the new features, etc. I’ve put a ton of work into the project over about five years, so it makes me happy to know that people enjoy it.
Do armor knights finally have aggro? That was a big problem I had with the previous version: bulky units like Hector and Oswin didn’t get attacked, so their high defense stats became a liability.
Wow, just discovered this. Amazing. Blazing Blade has always been near the bottom of my FE list even since I was a kid, but this looks like a version I could enjoy!
I still think it was a bad idea to get rid of aggro for units that take 0 damage from attacks. If taking 0 damage from attacks made things too easy, you could have made attacks always deal at least 1 damage no matter what. It’s better than Hector and Oswin becoming useless because nobody on the enemy side wants to fight them.
With regard to the zero-damage aggro: for the next version, that will be the default behavior on Normal difficulty.
For other difficulties, there is already a Provoke skill scroll that you can find that causes this behavior for the unit you add it to. Promoted Hector also gets the Storm’s Eye ability that has this effect. Further, the General class has a skill that causes them to take the place of adjacent allies in combat when attacked, which allows them to use their defense to protect other allied targets.
That’s actually a good question. Why did the creator make Lyn mode easier on Hard and Lunatic mode? In version 1.7, Lyn mode was made more difficult on the higher difficulties to match the difficulty of the post-Lyn mode story. That change made Lyn mode more fun to play through, even though the player couldn’t really funnel exp into a single unit like they could with the easier Lyn mode.
