Hi, When I upgraded from 1.50 to 1.52, it seems like my Matthew lost his ability acquired lvl 5, which allows him to move through the ennemy, I guess it’s not normal, and is there a way to fix it ?
By The way, I’m at the chapter “A glimpse in time” and it’s been a pleasure to play the game ! Even though I regret playing on Lunatic mode a bit. I lost hope in doing it Iron Man style.

Hello. I’m on chapter 8, and I’m getting like 4-5 exp at level 4(Dorcas) from killing an enemy on hard mode? Leveling is generally harder than I remember in the original, but sometimes I get basically no exp even though I’m pretty under leveled for chapter 8 and pretty much every enemy unit outranks my army. Don’t know if this is intentional or a bug, so figured I’d mention it.
This looks incredible! Do you have a rough eta of the completion? I’ve never played a lex game, so im not sure of how long it takes compared to a romhack, is it faster, or easier?

Can you add in generic units.
You can check the size of the army and add in a complete nobody at the start of each chapter.
Considering the engine has no limit on characters I think it shouldn’t be that hard to create simple dummy characters.
And such a feature, even if it is just up to one unit per chapter post obtaining Merlinus could add some wiggle room for people playing poorly. Considering that each chapter has an own generic you could give each chapter a fitting generic. A defend map could give you a generic armor knight, a map with a ballista could give you a generic archer.
I can understand why this feature may seem not worth the effort and like pointless additional work but I still hope you consider this feature. (I am a big fan of playable generic units so I want to request it as this engine makes that easier than ever.)
And of course I could aid you if you want. Like I could make a list for the generic of each chapter if you don’t want to decide for yourself.
Hi, all. I just posted a large new update. See the patch notes near the top of the first post for info. Only one new chapter but a ton of bug fixes and other improvements.
Another big update: that’s two in a row. This is the last one before the end of the year. I’ve merged these patch notes with the ones in the main post. Here are the new additions and changes:

Chapter: Rabid Dog (Was Four-Fanged Offense - Linus)
Playable Units: Louise, Geitz, Karel
Skills: personal skills for new units
Items: Devil Sword, Nullify Scroll
Dialogue: support conversations for the new playable units.
Bug Fixes
Fixed Sage’s Spirit Sight skill not allowing retaliation against ballistae.
Fixed Bishop Serra’s incorrect skill learn list.
Fixed Distinctive Druids stat bonuses not showing up on promotion.
Fixed Tricksters being able to steal personal spells.
Fixed Nergal’s Gift skill blocking stealing, etc.
Fixed several classes not giving Con upon promotion.
Fixed some units being able to rescue Merlinus.
Fixed Breath of Life skill triggering on enemy phase.
Ch. 24: Fixed thief AI immediately running away.
Ch. 28: Fixed Lloyd not moving on higher difficulties.
Game Balance
Experience gained from non-combat abilities now diminishes from repeated use in a chapter.
Unit changes:
-Lucius joins at level 5 so as to use his class skill against the shamans.
-Kent gains +2 Luck and +10% Luck growth.
-Reduced Serra’s buffed Mag and Spd by 1.
-Reduced Florina’s Mag growth by 5%.
-Dorcas gets +2 Str. Removed his +1 Skl buff.
Personal skill improvements:
-Rebecca: Crit +10 when initiating combat.
-Rebecca (upgraded): Crit and Crit Damage +15 when initiating combat.
-Lucius (upgraded): All enemies deal -3 damage with physical attacks.
-Erk: -3 damage taken if at full HP when combat begins.
-Erk (upgraded): 50% less damage taken if at full HP when combat begins.
-Wil (upgraded): Hit +7 and +1 damage dealt for each ally within two spaces.
-Karla (upgraded): Ignore weapon triangle disadvantage. +3 damage dealt.
-Renault (upgraded): increased magic bonus to +6.
Class skill changes:
-Druid’s Malefic Aura: now fails against foes using light magic.
-Swordmaster’s Astra can no longer crit.
Ch. 27x: Reduced enemy strength from higher difficulties.
Wolf Beil: gains -3 damage taken, reduced buffed Hit by 10.
Other Revisions
Loot changes:
-Ch. 12: replaced Red Gem in chest with Hammer to deal with early-game knights.
-Ch. 16: Replaced village Wind Sword with Axereaver to help lance users in Badon.
Thieves can now steal gold with a full inventory.
Backing out of a skill preview menu doesn’t consume a unit’s action.
Note that some of these will not be retroactive on an existing save file. Have fun and happy holidays!
