Hmm, wasn’t expecting to make hard executive decisions just as I’ve arrived, but:
@Shadow_the_halberdier Like I said in OP, I was a lurker checking out other PMEs before finally making an account to try out my own, and of course I did see Baccara amongst other submissions pop up, nothing wrong with re-usage at first. But with such a strong reaction from EmeraldKing, now I dunno if there’s anything personal going on, but what I DO know is that this kind of stuff ends up creating a bad taste in the mouth that can indirectly affect others, creating heavy disinterest.
So for this specific occasion (again wasn’t expecting so soon after I created this topic), I’ll have to deny your submission to replace Lyn. You can still create units for other slots, perhaps completely new OCs to help increase range too, helping out preventing this from happening again.
@Enthusiasm Feel free to create a unit to replace Lyn in a new post if you’re still interested.

Surely other users on this sites will eventually catch on of you just submitting your own ocs in almost every pme you participate. And they will get tired of seeing them. What then huh?
To be honest, I don’t see a problem with it. If submitting his OCs brings him joy, I think it’s valid. I try and submit Atanas any time I see an open lord slot. He’s based off a friend of mine and this friend enjoys when I send clips of his character doing cool things – I commissioned an artist to design the character based on him. I’m incentivized to submit him to multiple PMEs because that’s something that holds meaning to my friend and I.
So to speak, live and let live. If you don’t like the unit, no need to use them unless you’re playing Lyn mode, then sorry for your loss.
Look i don’t have any problems with Shadow participate in a pme. But come on getting the portrait you want to use shouldn’t be all that hard. I’m doing all of this on my ipad and I’m doing just fine.
Actually, let me rephrase that- EmeraldKing’s response to Baccara is uncalled for and extremely inconsiderate. Shadow should be free to submit his OCs as much as he likes, regardless of how tired one may be of seeing them. As much as I would like seeing new characters, I also enjoy seeing the regular submitters pop up again and again- if they want to submit the same character over and over, that’s their call. Shadow is completely within their rights here, and one person’s unwarranted outrage shouldn’t change that.
I believe Shadow’s original reservation of Lyn’s slot should be respected, and no submissions should be made in Lyn’s slot until it is returned.
Well somebody had to call him out on that. Nobody was willing to do it so i have to. If we just keep letting him resubmitted his ocs for every single pme for now on then all other pmes will feel the exact same. And just couldn’t take it anymore.
