The patch linked here is EN 9-23-17. I found another called EN GAMMA 9-27-17 on Serenesforest.net.
I take it that the one from Serene’s Forest is the latest most complete one considering the date?
Or does it have some issues since it says gamma?

Found another patch EN GAMMA 10-1-17, so I guess that one is even newer.
This one isn’t posted here anywhere though.

For those who weren’t there, the “complete” is a joke made on December 31 so Elibean Nights would technically still be released and completed in 2020, much like the longrunning meme.

so I was playing “Poisoned by Madness” and when one of the enemy thieves in the bottom left reached a chest the game crashed and made an awful screeching noise. I’m plaing on the 3ds version of Mgba

Made some good progress today, putting a dent in the old bug fixing log.
There have been a few attempts to reboot EN since its cancellation in 2019, either through a port to FE8 using buildfiles or by trying to resurrect the project by shifting to FEBuilder.
I’ve given up on both and decided that I’m just gonna stick with what I know: the boomer hacking method. It was actually pretty fun to crack open FEditor/Nightmare/EA/GBAGE/etc. and spend a day working on this again.
We’ll see how far it goes. But hey, I even got the Bonus Content screen to load! That’s probably the first time that thing has been successfully booted up in years (apparently there was one unit that when loaded causes the game to freeze). I’ve got a functional/editable version of the Tale Select code up and running.
My goal is to get a stable version, but also to make a few technical and aesthetic improvements.
