Black Map?

Hi, so i edited Chapter 25 in FE7 (Eliwood snow map) and when i select “View map” it appears to be fine, but once the chapter officially starts, i get a black screen only highlighting the HUD.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Edit: I found a fix, but it’s not ideal. Going into the options menu, then backing out causes the map to “Light up”. If someone could tell me whats causing the issue to begin with that’d be great.

I think this is to do with the fade to map option in the chapter data editor?

Have an event on turn 1 that fades in. If you’re using EA, the code you’ll want is OOBB.
