Hello all. I am a hack/fangame creator who has been making projects for the better part of five years now. One of the big things I’ve been doing as a way to set my projects apart from the rest is through the use of custom music. I’ve been composing music since high school, and many of my projects make heavy use of original music that I wrote myself. Being able to read and write music also means that I have the capacity to arrange existing video game songs for the FEGBA soundfont, and I’ve done that a decent amount as well.
I’m posting this thread here in part because I’ve been considering opening up commissions for composing/arranging songs for other peoples’ projects as a way to help support myself, and I wanted to gauge the demand for this kind of stuff.
