Good afternoon, guys, gals, and ghems :sunny::sparkling_heart: This might seem very, very unexpected, and you might have just thought this is a joke, but it’s not. I promise you it is not. This now-ancient PME is finally coming back after a full year and a half! After the initial panic about the fate of Cherry Chainsaw, I suddenly got inspired to finally remake this first PME of mine out of the blue. Trust me, this is going to be awesome and I am so excited for you guys to play it :two_hearts: So far, only Chapter 1 has had its replacements inserted, and there’s still a little bit more to work out, but I hope you all can enjoy it all the same :pray: I tried my best with this one to keep these replacements as close to reality as possible, meaning that all but Al (now known as A) are as you’d see them if you tried this yourself, albeit with a couple extra stats in places (especially anything that could be rounded to a multiple of 10 because fuck 9’s, I hate them :triumph:), some additional items in a few people’s inventories (including PRF’s), and of course, the stats that would previously underflow don’t anymore (except for Lithi and Ianto, I haven’t gotten around to them yet :sweat:). Otherwise, it’s as authentic as you can get, and I hope you guys can find some amusement in what I have cooked, so without any further ado, go wild :revolving_hearts:

Good evening, guys, gals, and ghems :sunny::sparkling_heart: Version 0.021 is now live, containing the last new PRF weapon for Lithi this time (sadly Ianto doesn’t have a new one cause I need to think of something for him :sweat: Gotta share with Doggy lol), a few more stat buffs (particularly to characters’ Lck values so they don’t die to low-percent crits as often), and even a few extra surprises waiting in store for you~ ;333 Hope you all enjoy, and if any bugs come up, please let me know either in this thread or in directs either here or on Discord :pray:

Also, @Bwan would you still like your Roy replacement, Alto, in this hack? You never submitted a portrait nor a palette for him, so without them, I can’t insert him :mending_heart:

Well, the time limit for the funny “8 days later” message to appear has now come to pass. Since Bwan hasn’t posted anything since May, I don’t know their status or if they are okay. Still, because I desperately want this Roy replacement to complete Ch1 and move on to Ch2, I regrettably must remove Alto from the game and swap him out for a new character.

Not calling dibs per se, but I’ll whip something up after I’m done moving my entire room to a seperate room. (My dad moved out so I get the biggest room now! :grin:) So maybe in about an hour or so?

Good spooky afternoon, guys, gals, and ghems :sunny::sparkling_heart::ghost: Today is indeed a very haunting day because while it may not be Halloween just yet, this new patch will still send shivers down your spine :smiling_imp: As you can see from the title, you can now play Chapter 2 since it has some, but not all, of the replacements inserted. On top of this, there have been a few balance tweaks for a few characters to make them more usable, plenty of enemy variety changes in Chapter 1 to give you goosebumps, plenty more PRFs, and most importantly, a whole bucketload of eye candy with all the visual changes, such as new item icons (especially the stat boosters transforming into the SoV food versions :yum:), portrait swaps and recolors so that the cast feels more organic and ground-grown, and a couple of animation changes, most notably visible being the FE7 Female Sniper because it just looks better :333 Of course, that sounds pretty vague, but don’t fret! I’ll try to have a cumulative changelog of everything between the first release and now posted by the eve of hallow (:crossed_fingers:). Otherwise, that’s pretty much all from me. You know where to find it by now~ Have yourselves a scary night and especially a spooktacular Halloween! :jack_o_lantern::two_hearts:

Good evening, guys, gals, and ghems :crescent_moon::sparkling_heart: Hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving :turkey: And if you didn’t or don’t celebrate it, then I hope you had a good day regardless :heart_decoration: I wanted to give an update on what’s been going on with the ROM since I have some news to share about it. Now, don’t fret! It’s not canceled again. I’m not doing that. I will see it through this time :heartpulse: However, I am moving the whole thing to a new ROM for three reasons: A.) I recently learned that there’s a new version of the modern translation patch, v1.2.1 - it’s not a drastic update; it primarily updates a couple of pieces of text to line up with Heroes and fixes a possible crash, etc. - but it would still be nice to have a more polished version to work off of for this next update. B.) I want to remake the game in a much more refined state now that I know what I want to do with the balancing and gameplay tweaks. And C.) I want to get rid of A because the amount of agony he’s put me through to make him balanced is inexcusable. For reference, this is how he looks now:


(Yes, folks, I had to reclass him into a Monk, a class that didn’t originally exist in FE6 (where I put it in Priest’s spot because they have the same stats and class growths), because he still wasn’t pulling his weight)
And this is what I’ve had to do to make him viable over the many patches as listed in my notes (though a couple stats might be inaccurate):
Al (A): +1 HP, +Mag Boon +1, +1 Skl, +Spd Boon +2, +Lck Boon +2, +2 Def, +Res Boon, Reclass into Monk because it’s the Weapon Reversal of Shaman and I thought that would be a nice simple gesture
I hate this unit with every fiber of my being, and I want him gone, so if any of you guys have a new replacement they’d like to see in this ROM, you can drop them here in this thread or DM’s on FEU or Discord. Anyway, I do have a new patch ready for you guys to play to tide you over (which as always can be found in the OP), and I should hopefully have this new ROM raring to go sooner rather than later :saluting_face: Thank you all for being patient with me, and enjoy~ :revolving_hearts:
