I’ve been seeing a few PME topics around here, and I figured this would be a good way to get back into FE hacking - took a pretty long break and needed something simple to get back into working on my personal projects.
Was planning on taking a few patches in for this as well - S/M split, and probably SkillSystems (just the FEBuilder latest patch one, I’m not too experienced with making custom builds for that.) I’ll be adding a spreadsheet with some growth changes/etc. that I was planning to use as a starting off-point, with the list of skills in the system in case you’re not familiar with the base engine.
Planned features:
Strength/Magic split
(please make sure to submit both str/mag growths if you’re planning on submitting a character, be funny and make a merc with 50% magic growth, the only thing stopping you is a tier list of this game putting that in the “well…” tier)
Skills
Nothing too unbalanced, this game will need to be playtested at some point

Free reign, but eventually I’ll need to go through at some point and balance the game, so some super broken things might need to be toned down. Stuff like Galeforce, any of the + skills that come with the engine, the stuff that just doesn’t work would probably be better off avoided, unless you’ve got something pretty cool in mind
