I’ve yet to play P3R Episode Aigis - The Answer, since I have a ton of homework to do, alongside other things. But for now, I think I’ll put some portraits today that I was doing since some weeks ago.
The Boogeyman himself. I wanted to do some portraits of this character ever since the actor of this character was cast as a certain black animal (well, if you have checked the portraits I’ve made, it’ll be obvious who I am talking about). Ngl, it was pretty fun to make them honestly. Most of the art was based on the Fortnite skins of this character, although I also checked screenshots of him in the movies, alongside pure skill and creativity from my own. The character I took to make his pose was Elbert, and then I used Fado’s hair to make the alts with long hair. Overall, I’m very happy with how these portraits turned out.
No new portrait for today, I’ve just changed my profile picture now that we’re on autumn. Even though it’s still not really October, I’m just going to change it now to be prepared for the spooky season.
Alright, now that we’re on October, I think it might be nice to make some halloween inspired portraits for this month. I’ll do everything that I can, but what I have in mind for this month is make a mix of making normal portraits and other ones that are halloween themed, you know, just like how FEH does their banners around October. The Halloween portraits I make will be sort of a mix between halloween inspired portraits (cosplay, horror themed, actual Halloween portraits, and some other stuff) and some alts that might count as fallen/evil alts. I don’t know how much I’ll get to do before the month ends, but like I said, I’ll do everything that I can do for now.
This is literally just the classic armor Mewtwo portrait, edited to resemble the Master Chief armor. The colors and some of the parts I edited where based on Garytop’s Master Chief portrait. At least making these portraits was good enough in case I end up making another Master Chief Mewtwo portrait that ends up much closer to how a Spartan’s armor looks.
Pokemon Gen I - Shadow Mewtwo
A dark version of Mewtwo that was made for the fighting game Pokemon Spin-off “Pokken Tournament” around, uh, almost a decade ago. This one was pretty easy to make, since all I needed to do was just recolor its skin colors and make the shadow synergy stone located on its right shoulder, and if you look close enough, I also edited a bit the eyes of the Mewtwo with the normal body design. Thanks to that being simple to do I also did a mirrored alt of it that ended up making me edit the mouth frames, but it wasn’t too bad at least. This character is supposed to be a Pokken Tournament character, but since this is just an alt of a Pokemon that already exists, these portraits will be put in the same place where Mewtwo’s portraits are located.
More portraits for this week. These ones are a bit more normal compared to the halloween ones, but they still are character portraits from P3, practically the whole Strega squad. F2E as always. Enjoy, mainly for the day they’re posted.
The Jesus looking, actually nihilistic dark messiah from P3, that uses a revolver to fight. Even tho doing front facing portraits isn’t that common, and you have to be careful so they don’t end up awkward looking, there were actually indeed some FE GBA portraits that were of this type, and I wanted to make Takaya’s portrait look a bit unnerving, and just like how his P3 and P3R portraits look. Funny enough, despite not having any clothes to cover his upper body, and just having a small black headband on his head, he still has enough colors to fill the 16 colors restriction, which mostly happens thanks to the tatoos he has on his shoulders, so if you want to edit his portrait by adding clothes, then make sure to cover his tatoos well (or just use their colors for clothes). Idk if it’s just me but for some reason making his portrait look forwards makes him look like he’s a bit muscular despite him being actually more frail, but I think I’ll leave his portraits as is now.
Persona 3 - Jin Shirato
Takaya’s main psycho supporter that fights by throwing grenades around. This portrait was the 2nd I’ve made from the Strega group, after making Takaya’s, but was actually the first one I’ve released a while back on another thread. I like how his green jacket turned out, but if I were to revisit his portrait, I would fix up his hair so that it becomes less large and straight, improve a bit the colors used on his glasses when reducing the colors for his skin, and give him expression alts like Takaya, since otherwise he’s pretty much the less developed character out of the 3 Strega characters.
Persona 3 - Chidori Yoshino
The only girl from Strega, and the less evil one of them all. In contrast to the other two, I didn’t want to base her portrait out of any of the ones she had in the games, since I wanted to make her portrait a bit unique to any of them (it fits a bit too, since she’s the only Strega member to have a different pose for her portraits in P3R), and mainly to practice at making portraits without basing them too much on their original art to make them a bit more unique, and by that also improving at making more original portraits.
Despite looking a bit like it, I actually didn’t use Karla’s hair to make her hair, despite in hindsight it could’ve been good to use it to make her hair a bit easier. The outfit I made first was the hospital robes one, since I knew that her main one would take a bit more time, and to make alts of her portrait be more manageable. I did end up basing the colors used on the colors from her P3R portraits, mainly since some of her clothes were actually colored into a very light shade of pink in the P3 movies, but even with full colors I didn’t want to add more colors to her portrait. Overall, despite being one of the characters with a more complicated design that I made so far, her portraits end up not losing a lot of colors without looking lackluster, so that they’re easy to recolor or edit. To showcase that, I’ve made an alt of her hospital robes outfit that also has her headband on, which is actually how her hospital robes outfit looked in the og P3 too.
Releasing another set of portraits today, since I feel that something may happen next week that’ll prevent me from making more portraits for a bit. IDK really, I just have the feeling. I’m like that since a long time ago. Well, at least these ones are fitting for this month.
The final stage of the plant starter from Gen VII. The one that I like the most from that gen too. It was fun making its portrait, although the reason it has an alt variant is when I ended up doing its design, I noticed midway that the way that its “shoulder leaves” are done were supposed to point downwards instead of upwards, but since I liked how I did it previously, I decided to make two portraits with different shoulder leaves design. Frankly, that happened thanks to some art of the Pokemon anime making it like that, mainly when it was in a state of combat, so maybe you can make it like that if you use these portraits. I also liked making a surprised alt of it with its eyes wide open.
Although if I end up making outfits for this Pokemon and plan for those to also be useable in normal FE GBA romhacks, I’ll have to make a variant with much less colors, because there’s no way they’ll mix well with the normal portrait lol.
Well, here we go now with the NPC Social Links from P3. I have a feeling that when I end up doing the ones from P4 and P5 I’ll end up doing them faster than of this game, unless there’s someone that has a very difficult design (that or I’ll end up struggling at the Phantom Thieves outfits lol). At least we’re starting with some characters with simple designs. Doing it now when there’s not much really at my university.
The first non-story SL you do in P3 (at least in the og version, and this one being obligatory). Fitting for being the same arcana as Junpei. The first outfit I did for him was the summer uniform one, and after doing that one I did his other two outfits, which were simple enough. In fact, making at least his head was so easy, since not only the face I took as a base, Forde’s, was a good fit for Kenji, but the right side of his hair, which was from a normal FE7/8 villager, was mostly unedited since that looked very similar to Kenji’s. Some of his hair colors ended up being a bit similar to his darker skin tone, but since he doesn’t really have complicated outfits, I left them separate from those. Maybe the only thing I’ll update from him is his collar from his casual attire, since I feel it looks a bit weird and small.
Persona 3 - Hidetoshi Odagiri
The Student Council president that has the same Emperor arcana as Akihiko. Making his portraits was even faster than Kenji’s, mainly since I took the body I made of Kenji’s summer school outfit thanks to these characters for the most part having similar body shapes, so all I did there was just making a few edits to his outfit. Although, despite his portraits not really having more colors than Kenji’s, some other parts of his clothes (like his tie) ended up being unedited. Maybe because I made one of the colors of his winter outfit share colors with his darkest hair color. Still, despite being a portrait I did quickly, I still liked how it turned out, like his hair and his mouth frames.
Hey Alem, just want to say I love your style of art and how PROLIFIC you are. You seriously pump out unique portraits at a wild pace and I’m impressed by your creativity. Always happy to see when this thread / image compendium is updated
@Vorgus Thanks! I feel like I’ve improved fast ever since I begun making portraits in 2023, so to see that I have a certain style of art is pretty nice to hear.
As for @amema003, I don’t know really know what that thing about Eli means, but that’s funny lol.
As for today, in celebration of Sonic X Shadow Generations being released this day for most parts of the country (not counting leaked gameplays) I’m going to release some new Shadow portraits that I did these last days. They’re not really something very new, but it’s still something that I wanted to do.
First off, I improved the Shadow I made previously, mainly by updating the eye frames so that it would more detailed and accurate to his appearance in the movie.
I’ve also did some other expression and outfit variants of him.
Happy expression (aka Shadow before the tragedy)
This one was inspired by TheMathewFlames’ youtube video of Shadow as John Wick, and considering that was made by the casting of Keanu as Shadow, it was very fitting tbh. The design and colors of the outfit were basically straight from the John Wick portrait I did earlier, although in the version with reduced colors I feel that his suit blends too much from his darkest hair color, but since I didn’t want it to be too light, I made it like that. Maybe I’ll change it later.
Batman outfit
After making the John Wick outfit for Shadow, I also decided to do some portraits of the Batman outfit made for him. Funny enough, I thought making his portrait with his mask was going to be more easier at managing his colors compared to the variant without it, but that ended up being the contrary. So what I ended up doing was axing his darkest eye and hair color and replacing it with the only dark hair color he had there, and so far it looks like it isn’t that noticeable at least.
If all of the Shadow portraits that weren’t the default portrait and the happy one (that one is indeed based on one quick scene from the first Sonic 3 trailer) weren’t already fanart dosed (that is, things that deviated a bit from the official material), then this one might be even more, since it has the design of the movie version of Sonic.
The character that pretty much is one of Shadow’s early designs, and the one that resembles Sonic the most. Thanks to that I took the portrait I made of him and used it to make this one. Aside from changing the color scheme and adding the scarred eye, red collar and smiling frames, I also took part of one of Knuckles dreadlocks thanks to basing this portrait on his look in SXSG. Overall this one doesn’t lose a lot of important colors when reducing it too max 16 colors, so it still looks nice.
after these ones, I think I’m going to post some more portraits in a few days, so be sure to check out in a while.
Hello everyone. We’re now in November, and I originally planned to put something back when it was Halloween, but since I uh, forgot to put something then, I didn’t get to do it now that it’s not halloween. Oh well, guess the Shadow portraits I put earlier are going to be the last ones I made for the month of October.
Speaking of, I’m going to release portraits of the next P3 SL I had to make. This time they’re a couple that represents the same SL. These ones might be the first character portraits I’ve made that are old people, and boy are they a bit more different than normal FE elder portraits. And now that I think about it, Idk if I’ll have to talk to a moderator to move part of the portraits I’ve put above, since I’m going to make a lot of P3 portraits, and eventually I’ll run out of space there. I’ll see about that later.
Note: I’ve used one of GoudaGrabber’s (previously GabrielKnight) portraits, a generic old man specifically, to make Bunkichi’s portraits, so if you’re going to use his portraits, then make sure to also credit GoudaGrabber.
One half of the Hierophant SL in P3. To make his portrait I ended up using GoudaGrabber’s portrait of an old man, mainly since that one had a pose I could use to make Bunkichi’s portrait, although it was a struggle to make his portrait fit well in the portrait space thanks to being a bit long. And even with that part of his hair makes it so that you have to use the extend mug patch to fully insert his portrait. For the most part I like how his portrait turned out, specially his hand, although Idk if I want to make part of his head a bit bigger to give him a bit more detail, but I guess I’ll leave him as is.
Persona 3 - Mitsuko Kitamura
In comparison to his husband of which I ended up struggling mainly to making his portrait fit well within the space of the FEGBA portraits, with Mitsuko I ended up struggling at making the colors of her outfit so as to fit the max amount of colors a normal portrait can have. That and pretty much the flowers and branches from her dress aren’t noticeable at all thanks to the size I had to make them, so in turn they’re much more simplistic compared to her normal P3 portraits. But other than that making her portrait was still much faster than making Bunkichi’s, since I didn’t have to struggle in the size of her portrait.
Overall, making these two’s portraits are some of the trickier portraits I did so far. But at least I got them done now. Hopefully I don’t struggle too much at making portraits of the rest of the cast.
While I’m working on the rest of the portraits of the P3R cast, I ended up improving a portrait that I made back when this year began. Alongside being some time ago since I ended up making that portrait, I also got some help of some artists in the FEU discord to help me at making this one. With that, this is the fourth character that I ended up improving their portrait this year.
The final stage of the fire starter of Pokemon’s sixth generation. Compared to a Greninja portrait I did earlier, this one was more trickier to sprite, since Delphox has some very big orange hair coming out of its ears, so you have to make sure it fits right while at the same time the portrait as a whole doesn’t feel too small when compared in size to other characters. Maybe I could make it a bit more bigger since the head may be still a bit too small, alongside drawing the shoulders again, but overall I like how this one came out when compared to another one I did. I made this one so that it could use the extend mug patch to fit properly, but even without that the portrait as a whole looks good too at least.
I think starting from this point on, I’m going to showcase more images that show my portrait knowledge when I post a character that I’ve sprited before. Likewise, maybe once we’re in December I’ll post a bunch of art that show how I did most of the portraits I did, mainly the P3R ones.
The very first Delphox portrait shown here is my very first attempt at drawing this Pokemon, done back in this year’s January. Obviously as you can see, it didn’t turn out too well, since not only it has a lack of colors thanks to me just not giving it more detailing and shading, it also had its ear hair be too big to the point it couldn’t be inserted in just one portrait, even with the extend mug patch. The problem was that I drawn it in a centered pose, and even that makes it so that this portrait ends up too big to fit properly.
After this, I ended up making this new attempt, which in contrast was now drawn with a side angle, much like characters like Legault and Ismaire. Since I didn’t want its ear hair to be simple in shading, unlike how its shown in official art, I colored it like normal hair shading so that it would more akin to the normal FEGBA portraits. At this point I was starting to learn more about how perception works too, since so that this portrait would look and fit better into a hackbox, I had to make the left ear smaller.
After this, I ended up making it smaller, alongside making the right ear a bit bigger and more detailed, while at the same time making sure I didn’t make it too big.
And finally, once I was done with all that, I made the overall portrait more bigger and fixed and added some parts like the right shoulder and parts of the head. While it still needs the extend mug patch to fit parts of the portrait at the right, I’ll very gadly take that over having to make the portrait into a two hackbox portrait.
Overall, I enjoyed making this portrait, mainly by learning how to make characters like this, and by showing how much I’ve learned since then.
Here’s some other characters from P3. In hindsight it would’ve been fine to just stick with the characters that appeared in P3R only, but with this one I decided to also do one from Persona 3 Portable. I think I’ll go back to redo these the most out of all of the P3 portraits I did imo once I’m done.
The original Chariot SL from P3, aka the one that wants to break his leg to win a sports competition. I originally intended to do the other outfits he had for the cut sports clubs in P3 (the Swimming and Kendo ones) but I ended up getting lazy and just did the ones he has in P3R. I’ll do them once I also find a way to change his face and the colors used in his outfits, alongside making his hair a bit bigger, since imo I feel it could use some improvements there. Other than that it was fun giving him a different skin tone from the other characters I did so far.
Persona 3 Portable - Rio Iwasaki
The one that replaces Kaz if you play as the FEMC in P3P. Funny enough I did end up doing all her in-game outfits at once in comparison to Kaz, although I feel Kaz looks more unique in a way, since I didn’t change Lyn’s portrait enough to differentiate her from Rio’s. Then again, since they look somewhat similar (almost the same face shape and hair ponytail), maybe that’s why I didn’t end up changing much of Lyn’s mug. Maybe in the future when I get better at making portraits I will do a Rio mug that doesn’t look like Lyn. At least with this one I somewhat began to learn how to do neck collars, since they weren’t quite so simple to make.
Uploading these now since I don’t know how busy I’m going to get starting from next week, since I’m about to finish my college studies (yeah, time flies fast indeed). If I get lucky, maybe I end up posting two or more characters before this month ends. At least I ended up doing the other new SL character from P3P.
This character might be one of my favorite SL characters in Persona 3, even better since she ends up making a cameo in Persona 4. And so far I’m also a fan of how her portraits turned out too. Her eyes frames might look a bit funny by being partially covered by her glasses if you look close enough, so if you prefer, I have made one alt of her portrait without glasses. I only did one but if you’d like you could easily do the rest of her outfits without the glasses. Otherwise I just did alts of those without one of her hands being raised, which were actually the first ones I did.
Persona 3 Reload - Maya
Yes, this is just literally her P3R portrait reduced to fit the hackbox, what did you expect lol. At least it acomplishes being far more different than the rest of the characters shown here. Maybe one day I could actually try making an actual portrait of her, but for now there’s not much to talk about here really.
Persona 3 Portable - Saori Hasegawa
The other character that was made for the FEMC route in P3P. Just like with Chihiro I ended up liking how I did her portraits, although compared to hers one thing I ended up struggling a bit was making her hair, since here I discovered that I don’t really like making curly hair, kinda like Florina’s, Natasha’s, or Takaya’s (another P3 character that I did previously). If I revisit this portrait sometime, maybe I’ll improve her hair, and her eyes too.
Well, here’s the very last portraits I release before November ends. Idk if this next week I’ll be able to release any other portraits since this time the assignments I have left are very heavy to do, so for now these ones are going to be the last ones for a while. If nothing else, I plan to release all of the SL portraits from P3 right until the ones of the Death Arcana before December ends. And some extra ones in between too, so make sure to check out once in a while.
The original Fortune arcana SL, and friend of Hidetoshi Odagiri. Aka, the one that looks like Scott The Woz. Making his portraits was a bit easy to do, since I just took Arthur’s portrait and the body of a Gekkoukan student I already made before so that making it was quick to do. However I decided to skip on doing his casual outfit for now, since of all the SL students to have a casual attire, Keisuke’s the most difficult and annoying one to do, thanks to having somewhat of a mosaic pattern on his shirt, so for now he just has his school outfits.
Persona 3 - Ryoji Mochizuki
The womanizing student that shows up very late in the game, right when the main plot was supposed to end this very month because it hasn’t ended yet, and there’s a big reason why he suddenly showed up out of nowhere. He’s almost like Lyon from FE8 in a certain way. To reference the fact that he’s somehow a very tall character, even taller than Shinjiro IIRC, this time I didn’t really worry about the size of his portrait, making him so far the tallest character out of all the P3 cast. Were it not for his hair having some upward bangs, I would’ve made his portrait even taller, but overall I still like how his mug turned out. I initially planned to make his darkest shirt colors to use the colors of his eyes, but I instead went for the hair colors, and overall it still turned out fine imo. All in all, this has become one of the P3 portraits I ended up liking the most at how it turned out.
Edit: decided to change the hair shine in Ryoji’s variant with Max 16 colors, since I felt that the second eye/white shirt color was better to use there.
The next P3 SL characters are here. After this I plan to at least get the death Arcana SL character done before this year ends, alongside some other last new portraits for something that comes out by the christmas season, and some other new things too. At the very least I’m proud of how these came out.
The sports leader SL from Persona 3. Another cool character as well, and one that I really liked at how it came out. I thought that doing her portrait was going to be a bit difficult, mainly for her having a different skin tone than most of the other Gekkoukan students, but it turns out that doing her portraits wasn’t so hard as it turned out. This was a portrait where I basically took advantage of her hair colors to mix them in with the white colors used in her eyes and clothes, so out of all the characters I did so far, she’s one of the few characters I did that doesn’t lose a lot of detail when reducing the colors in her portrait. Yet if it was possible I could’ve had at least one more color slot to keep the red pinkish clip from her hair, and maybe try and make her lips different, but other than it came out well, I would say.
Persona 3 - Maiko Oohashi
A girl that ends up caught in her parents’ nasty divorce. Since she’s a kid character, it was more or less quick the process of making her portrait, although if you look close enough she actually has a good amount of colors in her portrait. I wish I had three tones for her blue light sweater to preserve the detail in her clothes tbh. If I end up revisiting her portrait I would mainly improve her hair buns since I feel they were the most tricky thing to do here.
Maybe it might seem weird to put Liz’s portrait here alongside Pharos’, moreso since she didn’t have a SL unlike her fellow sisters in P4 and P5, but other than maybe fitting for the P3 portraits I did so far, I’m also putting it here because of her representing the Death Arcana in the P4 Arena games, so in a way I’m putting two representatives of the Death Arcana here. Of the two I’m posting today, I’m definitely more happy of how Elizabeth’s portrait turned out more than Pharos’, so maybe other time I’ll redo his portrait.
The next portraits I release after these ones might actually not be Persona related characters. They’re going to be related to something that comes out this friday (earlier than most countries). If any of you have been in the FEU discord recently, you’re going to take the hint more easily.
The mysterious boy that warns about the end of the world, and a character that only the protagonist meets. Maybe that justifies me making his portrait front facing (and also his portrait being like that even in P3R), although it didn’t make the portrait be any easier. I had to make his head not be very big so that it wouldn’t look out of place, but I also wanted to accentuate some parts of his face to showcase the uncanny valley effect more on him. Maybe one day I’ll redo his portrait so that it looks much more similar to how he looks in P3. Otherwise I did better in the color department tbh.
Persona 3 - Elizabeth
The infamous velvet room elevator attendant of P3. I think her portrait was bit easy to do IIRC. Maybe the hair and face where the parts that it took a bit longer to do, and in hindsight maybe I should’ve done her blue tones be more clearer in color. Otherwise, despite having a good amount of colors, her reduced palette variant has two free tones in case someone wants to splice her, and more easier since she more or less has a simple palette scheme. If I revisit her portrait maybe I would improve her hand further (it’s a bit closer to her body than how it is in her P3R portrait too), but even with that I feel that I did a good job making her hand here.
Gonna put some portraits I did sometime ago while I wait for the 20th of this month. These portraits were done some weeks ago, right around late November. They’re also another character portrait that I’ve redone after posting them very early this year (they were actually done last year tho, back when I didn’t have a FEU account).
I might consider making an alt of this character that doesn’t use the exceed mug patch, or maybe not, since I’ve noticed that I did end up making quite a few portraits that need that patch, and I don’t know if that takes more space out of the ROM, or causes visual bugs. On the other hand they’re still quite easier to do and insert than two part hackbox portraits (of which I only did one for now). With this one all that would be left would be making a Fennekin portrait.
A redone portrait of this character, much like Delphox, of which I did post its former mug earlier, unlike Delphox. This new version takes the Pokken Tournament character model as a base to its overall appearance, making it so that it more or less has a more 3d appearance than the other portraits I did. While this portrait is smaller when compared to Delphox, this one is also more bigger than the old one, even having its stick present here. I drawn it so that it barely reaches the hackbox limit, although it’s pretty much a bit insignificant since the extended part of the portrait is located around there. Would try for a non exceed mug alt, but I’m not sure how it would turn. I’ll definitely try to give it expression alts later tho, since that’s what I liked doing with its old portraits. Overall I like this new attempt much more than the previous one.
To conmemorate the official release of the STH3 movie (at least for the United States, Canada and Australia. For other countries like the one I live in, Mexico, it’ll be when Christmas come around), here are the Jim Carrey Eggman portraits I’ve been working since starting this week. They were fun to do, and after them, I think I’ll do more Eggman portraits, mainly since he’s the character that ended up changing the most inbetween all the Sonic movies bar none, but for now these are the ones I ended up doing for this day.
After this I’ll see if I manage to have something planned for when Christmas comes. Maybe I release a bunch of portraits I did before, show how I did most of my spliced and some of my custom portraits, or start with the rest of the P3 characters I have left to do.
Sonic The Hedgehog (2020) - Dr. Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik
STH3 outfit
The mad genius of the Sonic franchise himself, and specifically the version portrayed by the famous Jim Carrey. The first outfit I did of him is the new one he has in the 3rd movie, of which I only had trouble at drawing one of the shoulders and some parts of the collar. It’s a bit surprising and good that, for the most part, the darkest hair (moustache) tone makes for a good third red tone, although I couldn’t get to have him keep at least one yellow tone for some parts of his outfits. If I revisit him, maybe I’ll rework a bit his moustache and the collar of his outfits.
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (2024) - Dr. Gerald Robotnik
Ivo’s grandfather, and Shadow’s creator. Seeing as he’s pretty much like an older Eggman (I mean, he’s portrayed by the same actor, just like in the games) he’s more or less an edit of Eggman’s new outfit of the 3rd Sonic Movie. After that, I did his other main outfit of this movie, the scientist outfit. Fortunately, unlike his grandson, managing the colors for his outfits ended up being a lot easier, even while giving a light blue color that’s only used in his eyes. If I revisit his portrait, I would maybe make the part between his chin and neck a bit more larger and fatter, since compared to Ivo he has more fat in that part.
I also fixed a bit of Tails’ portraits. Why it took me this long Idk lol. Apologies.
Fixed Tails portraits
And now here I’ll leave you with some fun images I did conmemorating the release of the STH3 movie, for those that have yet to see it (like me), and for those that did already see it, then great on you.
There’s two Eggman now!? Double your villains, double your fun.
Merry christmas everyone. I know this might be a little late, but hope you all enjoyed your holidays, and enjoy the ones you’ll have in the future. As shown, I’ve made a summary of the portraits I did this year, using the template made by someone named latortilla.
As for personal experience, I know I’m not really a professional artist or something else, mainly since I have yet have to learn more how to more varied and dynamic poses, and at least for the human characters, learn to do portraits and art of those characters without splicing. But despite that, I’ll still keep learning. Everything’s an uphill battle after all, and once you practice more and more, you’ll eventually be able to do these things very well, even if someone else might be better than you.
Here’s also a Dropbox link that contains some of the Pokemon portraits I did in this year. Here’s some cheers to a new year! See you everyone!
Hi everyone, this is AlemOwl here. If you wonder why it took me until ending this month to post something here, well, the rest is that despite finishing college, I ironically ended up a bit busy. Mainly because I had to study for an exam I’ll have to make next month for my graduation, and boy it is a long one.
That’s something that ended up slowing down the activities I do. Oh and maybe how things went for me starting this year, at least here. Mainly talking about some PME I’ve ended up participating and ended up being cancelled, one because of the creator suddenly quitting the forum before the previous year ended, and another because of it imploding thanks to its creator being found out as discriminatory. So, all in all, not the best way to start the year lol. Still, if only just to have at least something done for this month I ended up participating on a CCC that’s just about to close its deadline lol, so you can check me out there.
Most probably I won’t do anything else before February 20th comes. Once that day comes, that’s when I’ll be able to focus on putting more stuff here. Until then, have a good day everyone, and remember: be nice to others, and try to not offend anyone.
