Adding custom support conversations for a custom character

Hello!
I have a punctual question, I want to make some custom support conversations for Puzon and make him recruitable by Matthew by a talk , how I can do that? I have to use the “Data expansion” function to add space for him, right? Im very new to this though so please explain with detail

You just make a talk convo that changes the allegiance of the enemy/npc unit to player. Yes, press the data expansion button whenever you want to add new stuff rather than replace existing stuff.
