To change bytes, you need a hex editor (I would recommend HxD). Then, you would simply go to the offset (DE900F8 or E900F8). From there, you can change the byte to whatever you want.
Hey so I am brand new to all things patching, hacking and such. Can anyone tell me how I install this? I use mGBA as my emulator, do I just use the “load patch” function? Do I need additional software? Please help, I am very clueless
You need to install it with Event Assembler onto your ROM.
Sorry for the necropost, but just for others coming across this thread, either I did something wrong or this patch doesn’t work on a European FE7 rom.
Do a mod like that for fire emblem 6 exists too?
