Originally I wasn't going to even show this, but I was talking to my cousin about an app that essentially replaced what I do and how possible the idea was, after considering the grand amounts of efforts it'd take to work, I decided to at least test the concept and came up with this sheet.
Was basically wondering about other people's thoughts and feedback.

Basically, there'd be a default model. At the start I'd assume there'd only be a default medium male, but over time the models would increase in number. Sharing parts would most likely be out of the picture, meaning extensive work would need to go into adjusting all prior resources to fit the new models, making updates tedious and likely far apart, time-wise.
On that default model there'd be the ability to adjust facial shaping, so maybe changing cheeks, jaw and chin. Maybe ear but I do wonder how that'd effect the hair so I'm not too sure on it.
After that you'd get to the features, I'm not sure what order they'd be layered in but there'd need to be an order just to make the shading work. Most likely hair would be very last.
After that would be extras like scars or eye-patches, masks and things like that.
The very end would be choosing the outfit which might be the easiest part.
The only thing I'm worried about really is colours, as I'd easily prefer not having to sheet multiple colours for each part and just letting the business end of the program or whatever have to deal with it but I'm not sure how viable that is as an option. So it's either magic or leaving it to people when they've finished their mug to deal with the colouring themselves.
