holy shit i did it again
it has to do with having a TEXTCG when there isn’t a CG.
as in if you don’t have a CG to go along with the TEXTCG then map sprites will appear in the textbox
actually it has to do with using
[SetName] without a CG or a background behind it

But it plays the sound effect

I’m using ITGC to give Bors an Iron Lance after an event where he kills a Soldier (now brigand) and for some reason it plays the Pilfered event instead, you still get the item it’s just… weird.

I don’t remember which Item Give command it is but I know in FE7 one of them is specifically for giving stuff to the main character and the other is for giving to specific characters. I know that at one point we had a money give event but it kept getting stolen away and playing a “pilfered event” too.

Unrelated, I found this image lying around. I’m betting it was a bad camera or something but man, this game breaks hilariously.

Turns out it’s just because FE6 wasn’t programmed to handle what I was doing. This on the otherhand

I’ve noticed this with FEditor too. It doesn’t seem capable of inserting spells exactly right and instead things spells often get pixelated. It doesn’t ALWAYS happen, but it seems to happen often enough. I’m assuming it’s because spell animations are much more complex than we all think and FEditor probably does the bare minimum to get them inserted properly.
